Enable a View more button for product lists
Updated today
Turn on the Use lazy loading pagination setting in the theme editor to replace numbered page links with a View more button that loads more products as shoppers scroll. When the setting is off, the storefront keeps standard numbered pagination.
Enable the View more button
The setting is global, so you turn it on once and it applies across your store. No role or permission is required beyond theme-editor access.
In the theme editor, open Theme settings and go to the Pagination panel.
Under Lazy loading, turn on Use lazy loading pagination.
Save your changes.
The setting replaces pagination links with a View more button that loads the next page of results. The button also loads the next page automatically as it nears the bottom of the screen.
Where View more browsing applies
Because the setting is global, it affects every paginated list on your store, including collection product pages, search results, blog article lists, collection-list pages, and article comments. The View more button appears only when a list spans more than one page of results.
Keep standard numbered pagination
Leave Use lazy loading pagination off to keep numbered page links. With the setting off, customers move through results with Previous page and Next page links and numbered page links.
Preview on desktop and mobile
Open a collection or search results page that has more than one page of products and confirm the browsing experience on both desktop and mobile.
The View more button loads additional products into the list.
While results load, the button shows Loading....
After the last page, the button disappears.
The number of products shown before the button appears is set by the page-size settings on each list, such as Number of products per page on collection results.
