Search in Pops opens a slide-out drawer that shows predictive results as you type. The drawer lives in the popup group, so it is available on every page, and it opens from the search icon in the header.
How predictive search works
When a shopper types a non-empty term, the drawer waits briefly, then searches products, pages, articles, and collections and displays up to four product cards in a two-column grid. Pages, articles, and collections count toward the results total but are not shown as cards. The first two product images load immediately; later ones load lazily.
When nothing matches, the drawer shows “Your search for ‘term’ did not return any results.” Otherwise it shows a count such as “4 results found for ‘term’,” followed by a See all results link that opens the full search results page.

The Search group in Theme settings controls predictive search. The drawer itself has no settings of its own.
