What Pops includes
Pops ships with the components most Shopify stores need out of the box, so you can build and refine your storefront without adding extra apps for common features. Its built-in toolkit includes sliders and slideshows, marquees, countdown timers, accordions, image comparison sliders, build-a-box product bundling, a cart drawer with upsells, a free-shipping progress bar, shareable cart links, predictive search with a search drawer, newsletter and age-verification popups, product recommendations, pickup availability, ratings and reviews display, quick add and quick view, product badges, custom cursor effects, and page noise and page-frame styling. Pops also supports Shopify app blocks, so you can add blocks from the apps you use.
How Pops content is built
Pops is modular: the pieces you place on a page — media, text, buttons, accordions, marquees, and the rest — are theme-blocks you compose together, not fixed, self-contained sections with hard-coded layouts. You build a page by adding a Section and arranging theme-blocks inside it. The Content sections collection documents each modular theme-block and the settings it exposes.
Where to configure Pops
Open your theme in the Shopify theme editor to change how your store looks, feels, and behaves. The global settings are grouped into panels: Quick start, Logo, Colors, Typography, Border radius schemes, Cards, Layout, General styles, Animation, Shadows, Buttons, Inputs, Products, Social media, Header, Search, Pagination, Cart, Custom cursor, Date format, Currency format, and Custom JavaScript/HTML code.
Quick start panel
The Quick start panel is your landing point for help and for the few settings that live outside the design panels. It links to Shopify help, Pops' documentation, and theme support, and lets you submit a support ticket. It also points you to Theme actions > Edit languages in the theme editor when you want to change the text that appears on buttons, checkboxes, and similar built-in UI elements.
