Snap Bundle: My offer or widget isn't showing
Updated yesterday
Work through a Snap Bundle offer or widget that won't appear on your storefront in this order: the theme app blocks and app embed, the offer's eligibility, product and variant availability, custom position and hide selectors, the Bundle at Checkout block, and the post-purchase app selection. Most Snap Bundle failures are silent β the widget's space is simply left empty β so a missing widget is almost never an error on screen.
Check the theme app blocks and app embed
A widget that never appears is usually missing a theme app block, not misconfigured. Each bundle type needs its block added to the theme once; only bundle types with an added block can be displayed on your storefront.
In the Snap Bundle dashboard, open the section Bundle blocks in your theme. An installed block shows Configure and On; a missing block shows Add block and Off. The widget needs this block and its page root:
Fixed Bundle β the
Fixed Bundleblock, rendered into the page root#snapbundle-fixbundleMix & Match β the
Mix & Match Bundleblock, rendered into#snapbundle-mixmatchbundleVolume offer / Quantity Selector β the
Volume Offer Tableblock, which is used for both Volume offers and Quantity breaksProduct Add-on β the
Product add-onsblock, rendered into#snapbundle-product-add-onBundle builder page β loaded by the global

A missing Volume Offer Table block shows a warning in the offer editor: Add Offer Table to Your Store, with the message "To display the offer table to your customers, you need to add our app block to your theme." Click Add app block to open the theme editor.
The Fixed Bundle, Mix & Match, Volume Offer Table, and Product Add-on blocks load their own scripts and do not depend on the global app embed. Only the Bundle builder page requires the embed. To confirm the embed, check App status in the dashboard β it reports On or Off, with "App embed is on. Your offers are visible on the storefront." when enabled β and open the theme editor if it is off. Setup is covered in SnapBundle: Quick Start Guide.
Offer is inactive or doesn't match the page
An offer that passes its block check but still doesn't render has usually failed an eligibility check: it is out of its date range, not active, or doesn't target the page, product, variant, or customer. When no offer matches, Snap Bundle clears the widget without showing any message.
Verify these settings for the offer type:
Status and schedule. An offer is eligible only while the current time is inside its start and end dates (both boundaries are inclusive), or, when no start date is set, while its status is active. An offer that is paused is not shown.
Product and collection targeting. A product-page offer must match a product on that page. Volume offers also match at the variant level: a
SPECIFIC_PRODUCTSoffer requires both the current product and the current variant to be among its configured variants. Mix & Match matches configured product IDs and collection IDs. When no offer matches the page, the newest active offer is used only if the offer's display is set to show on all products.Customer tags. For a customer-tagβlimited Volume offer, the shopper must carry at least one configured tag, or the table is not rendered. See How to show your Volume offer to specific customer group/B2B customers only?.
Priority and recency. Volume offers are considered in ascending priority, and Fixed Bundle and Mix & Match in newest-first order, so a higher-priority or newer offer can win over the one you expect to see.
Markets. When an offer targets specific markets, it is excluded for any shopper whose market is not selected.
Products or variants are unavailable
When everything in a bundle is out of stock, Snap Bundle hides or clears the widget rather than showing it disabled. Check whether the product or the currently selected variant for the current page is unavailable.
Fixed Bundle: unavailable variant options are disabled, and a product with no available variants shows Sold out. The add-bundle button is disabled while a chosen variant is unavailable, and if none of the bundle's products has an available variant the whole widget is hidden.
Mix & Match: an unavailable current product or selected variant clears the widget. The main action is disabled while any selected item is unavailable.
Volume offer / Quantity Selector: an unavailable current variant hides the table. In the browser console, this logs
SnapBundle: Variant not found or not availablebefore the table is hidden.Post-purchase upsell: the post-purchase offer is not filtered by stock before it is shown. If a shopper chooses an item Shopify cannot fulfill, the checkout returns the customer-facing error Out of stock, and the shopper must choose another option or remove the item.
Custom position and hide selectors fail
Snap Bundle positions a widget or hides a theme element by matching its CSS selector. When the selector is wrong, the widget stays in its default spot or the theme element stays visible, and there is no Snap Bundle error on screen.
For the Volume Offer Table, open Volume Offer Table Settings and check the Enable Custom Position toggle and its CSS Position field, which holds the CSS selector where the table should appear. A valid selector that matches no element silently skips the reposition, so the table remains in its default location. The same check applies to the Theme Add-to-cart button settings when the hide option is enabled: a selector that does not match leaves the theme button visible. Re-inspect the element and copy the most specific selector you can. See How to Hide Your Theme's Add to Cart Button to Avoid Duplication with Snap Bundle, which also covers restoring a hidden element.
For a Fixed Bundle, the custom-position failure is logged in the browser console as SnapBundle: Error: Custom position not found when the selector matches no element. The widget still renders in its original root, so if it appears in the wrong place, correct or clear the CSS Position field.
Bundle at Checkout doesn't display
Bundle at Checkout is a Shopify checkout extension, not a theme block, so the app embed does not control it. It is available only on Shopify Plus stores, and it must be enabled in Snap Bundle and placed in the checkout editor.
In the Fixed Bundle settings, open the Bundle at Checkout tab (next to Settings) and enable the checkout component under Checkout Component. Then click Add to Checkout to open the Shopify Checkout Editor, drag the Bundle at Checkout block into the checkout flow, and save. Full setup is in Set up Fixed bundle.
Checkout display is also gated by conditions. By default the bundle appears with no conditions; if you set it to Display by conditions, every condition must pass for All conditions passed, and at least one for Any condition passed. Supported conditions check product vendor, product tag, product collection, cart total, cart subtotal, cart quantity, customer login, shipping country, currency, and language. If the bundle appears for the wrong shoppers, reconsider the condition rules.
When no eligible bundle or no configured product exists, the checkout renders nothing rather than an error. If checkout can't update order attributes, Snap Bundle shows the banner Attribute changes are not supported in this checkout.
Post-purchase upsell doesn't show
Your post-purchase upsell is invisible until Snap Bundle is selected as the post-purchase app in Shopify checkout settings. Fix the selection first, then re-check the offer's trigger conditions.
When Snap Bundle is not the selected post-purchase app, the offer editor shows: Snap Bundle isn't selected app on the checkout post purchase page, with "Your post-purchase offer won't be visible. To display them select Snap Bundle app in your store's checkout settings." Click Open checkout settings to jump to the post-purchase page setting, select Snap Bundle there, and return to the offer editor. This is also covered in Set up Post purchase up-sell.
The offer itself must also match the order. The post-purchase check confirms the offer's start and end dates, the configured product and variant, product tags, customer tags, customer segments, and order value. If the shopper's order doesn't match those triggers, no upsell is offered and nothing appears.
Still not showing?
Two failure states are worth ruling out before you contact support.
Add to cart failures. A widget can render but fail when added to the cart. Fixed Bundle shows Error grabbing bundle, and Volume and Mix & Match show Add to cart failed or An error occurred when Shopify rejects the request. Retry, then check that every product in the offer is purchasable.
Discount code flow. If you have 25 active automatic discounts, newer offers switch to the discount-code flow. This does not change the storefront: the offer is still added to the cart automatically. See What does it mean to switch to discount code flow?.

If the widget still won't appear after these checks, contact our support team at [email protected] or through our live chat, and include a link to the storefront page and how you configured the offer.
